It's a hardware solution rather than a VST plugin, and not exactly cheap at around $400.00, but it does also serve as an audio interface with the ability to plug in a guitar and/or condenser microphone for home studio recording purposes. I just wish there was some resource that would let me hear real-time examples of all of the instrument sounds. I'm currently considering the Roland SD-50 Sound Module. It's just that it offered a great set of sounds for a relatively small price. As there isn't and probably never will be a solution for the VSC with 64 bit systems, it's a waste of time to keep complaining about it. I'm looking mostly for VST instruments that are compatible with notation software like Sibelius. Upgrading Band-in-a-Box wouldn't be worth it for me because BiaB playback is the least of my concerns.
